I photograph the people behind meaningful work – business owners and teams who want images that feel natural, confident, and recognisably them.
The work is creative, but never shouty. Polished, but not stiff. A calm experience, good light, thoughtful direction, and photos that actually feel like you, not a version of you that has to perform.
Based in Kent, I work across London and the South East.
Why I work this way
Over the years, I’ve learned that the most meaningful photographs don’t come from trying to be impressive.
They come from people feeling at ease, when they are given time, space, and a sense that they don’t have to perform.
The Colourful Brand grew alongside my own life: family, long walks, books piled on the bedside table, and a growing awareness that energy, comfort, and trust really matter. Those things shape how I photograph and how I work with people.
I’m interested in the in-between moments, the way you naturally move, think, and connect with your work, because that’s where things start to feel authentic.
What it's like to work with me
Most of the people I photograph are thoughtful, capable humans who care deeply about their work, who don’t necessarily love being in front of a camera.
My role is to make the experience feel comfortable and collaborative, not performative. We talk. We move. We take breaks when needed. I’ll guide you gently when it helps, and step back when it doesn’t.
There’s no expectation to be anyone other than yourself. No stiff posing. No pressure to “nail it.” Just a calm process that leaves space for real moments to show up.
The result isn’t just images you’re proud to share, but feeling more at ease with being seen in your work.
