Does the thought of maintaining a regular blog for your business seem daunting? Are you asking yourself how to find the time to blog, especially during the busy times? And does regularly creating quality content that truly resonates with your audience make you feel anxious? You are not alone. Most business owners struggle to regularly blog and even when they start, many soon fall off the wagon. And here’s where leveraging brand photography to streamline your blogging process and boost your business visibility can have a huge impact.
Why Would you want to?
Because fresh, high-quality, engaging content attracts and retains visitors on your website. It showcases your knowledge in your area and builds trust and credibility with your audience. It also helps to build links to your website and improves your search engine rankings and visibility, which ultimately leads to increased sales and conversions.
So here’s how to streamline your blogging and fuel your business’ online growth.
How often do you blog? How often should you blog?
There is no right or wrong answer, but what’s important is to find a posting schedule that works for you. Whether you post once a week, once a month, or every day, it’s key to be consistent even when business gets busy, you get bogged down by work, or the kids are ill or off on half-term. Also, keep in mind all the other content you’re writing – from Instagram, Facebook, and Linkedin posts to newsletters and free guides, it all takes brain power.
For me, the most manageable number is 2 blog posts per month, which is only 24 posts per year and, therefore a number I can handle during both the low and high seasons. Check out my blog for examples.
Advice-based blog posts that provide value to your readers rank better on search engines, get more interaction on social media, and do great on Pinterest. While it’s tempting to blog photos of your newest work all the time, writing advice-driven content will rank better and remain evergreen. By sharing your expertise and offering practical advice to your readers, you can build a loyal following and attract new readers who are searching for your content. So a good rule of thumb is to serve 90%, and sell 10%.
If you struggle with writing, AI tools like ChatGPT can be immensely useful in providing a starting point, or if you really just can’t do it, hire a professional copywriter to take it off your plate.

Photos breathe life into your blog posts, but apart from making your posts look good, adding them and alt tagging them with relevant keywords serves 3 purposes:
Now, it’s time to make your blog post the best version of itself. Utilise tools like Yoast to optimise specific keywords, enhance readability, add missing image alt tags and relevant internal links, and polish your social media previews and URLs.
Add internal links to other relevant posts and pages, and add links on your older posts to this new one. Help users find your content as naturally and in as many places as possible, and make your site super sticky in the process.
Then hit publish and share your post to Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram stories, posts, and reels. Create a blog graphic on canva and pin that alongside the best images from your post to different boards on your Pinterest account – each board gives you a unique link back. Bonus!
Submit your post to Google search console for crawling, and watch the robots come for a visit. If you blog consistently on the same day of the month or week, Google will soon learn your schedule and send the robots there by itself.
Last but not least, sharing your post in your newsletter brings in additional eyeballs, giving a boost to your website traffic. The Google Gods do appreciate a busy website!
